Highworth Angling Club offers River and Lake Fishing based in the town of Lechlade On Thames. The club was founded in 1947 and had access to a number of waters in the area including Whelford and Horseshoe Lakes and stretches of the River Thames. In 1993, the club purchased Roughgrounds Lake in Lechlade and is now the clubs only still water venue. We control the River Thames from Buscot Weir, through Bloomers Field and St. Johns Lock all the way through Lechlade to the Roundhouse towards Inglesham.
